Two years ago, it was reported in Bamenda Briefing that
the Bamenda Committee, with full backing of Bishop Crispian and
the authorities of La Sainte Union College of Higher Education in
Southampton, have sponsored Fr. Michael and Fr Martin to do a
two-year course for the MA (Ed) at LSU. We are very glad to
report that they have both graduated and have returned back to
Bamenda. They have been appointed teachers at the two main
catholic secondary schools - Fr. Michael is teaching at Saint
Bede's College, Ashing, and Fr. Martin at the Sacred Heart
College, Mankon. Reflecting on this new partnership, Archbishop
Paul is very keen to send two more of his priests to do the same
kind of studies next year. His request is at the moment under
consideration.
