RIDDEN SHOWING – RING 1

9.30 am start

* lead rein may be used. Must be genuine lead rein rider

In Hand Showing – RING 2

12.30 pm start

  2. Youngstock. 1, 2, 3 year old
  3. Best Condition stabled / grasskept
  4. Coloured / Appaloosa / spotted / palomino / dun / roan. Any age
  5. Veterans.16yrs+. Please show age.
  6. Hairies & / or Heavies. Any age.
  7. Natives. Registered / Unregistered
  8. Miniatures/Small ponies 42" & under. Any age.
  9. Pony judge would most like to take home. Any age/height. ridden / in hand

RING 3 - Jumping

Clear Round 9.15 – 1.00

  1. *Lead rein / accompanied – 15" (riders may not enter other jumping classes)
  2. Novice 2' never to have placed in the first 3 in jumping classes at 2 ft or over.
  3. Open 2'3" – 1st jump off increased height, 2nd against the clock.
  4. Take Your Own Line – 2'3" – 2'6" Every jump must be jumped once but in your preferred order. Against the clock
  5. Open 2'9". One round against the clock.

RULES & CONDITIONS

  1. Organisers and landowner will not hold themselves responsible for any accident / injury to any person, animal or property whatsoever or however caused. It shall be deemed a condition of entry to the showground that each entrant shall agree to indemnify the promoters against any legal action from any such incident.
  2. Judges decisions are final
  3. Organisers reserve the right to alter, amalgamate or sub-divide classes should numbers so justify
  4. Objections must be made in writing to Secretary within 10 minutes of incident, together with £20 deposit which will be refunded in objection is upheld
  5. Dress Code. Hard hats must be worn at all times when mounted. Hair must be tied back. A rider losing their hat in jumping arena will be eliminated. Safe footwear must be worn. Clothes must be neat, tidy & safe. Whips/spurs may not be used in games.
  6. Persons engaging in undue use of whip will be asked to leave showground.
  7. NO galloping/ cantering on showground except in arenas.
  8. No horse/pony under 4 years of age to be ridden on showground
  9. DOGS must be on lead & not left unattended in vehicles in hot weather
  10. Horses/Ponies must not be left tied up & unattended
  11. Competitors entering classes which may clash do so entirely at their own risk. No entry fees will be refunded unless accompanied by a doctor's or veterinary certificate. THE ORGANISERS RESERVE RIGHT TO REFUSE AN ENTRY WITHOUT STATING THE REASON.
  12. RESPECT THE OFFICIALS OR BE ASKED TO LEAVE. This applies to all persons entering the Showground
  13. Stallions must be handled / in care of experienced persons over 16 years old
  14. All competitor/horse combinations must be registered separately with a different number.

FEES.

All horse / competitor combinations must be separately registered. For prepaid entries this attracts a single First Aid premium per person. In the case of late entries a late registration fee including the First Aid Premium is charged for every horse/rider combination. Competitors who have prepaid may add extra classes on the day without incurring a late registration fee.

Please note that entries will be kept on computer file for Show purposes of identification & records. They will not be forwarded to any other person or body apart from the official photographer for sole purpose of forwarding proofs.
