The Denmead Horse Shows are the main fundraising operation of Denmead Swings and Things

Denmead Swings and Things was founded in 1991 as a means of raising funds to replace the local playground. Over the years we have donated equipment to Denmead Parish Council for an adventure trail plus a toddler's playground

In 2003 we worked together with the Parish Council, the Police and Youth Action Denmead to install a skatepark in Ashling Park contributing £12,000.

We also contributed £700 towards the fitting of the Ashling Pavilion kitchen / youth facilities

With the demise of Youth Action Denmead, Swings and Things has stepped into the gap within the Youth Partnership to support Denmead Activity Nights — our local junior youth club.
